Just wanted to introduce myself. I found my way to Blueridge guitars from the uniqueness in detail that Blueridge pursues from within their guitars. I'm still a fairly novice guitar player and right now I've been running on a Washburn DK20CET A/E guitar thats an all laminated-sitka (I think?) spruce body. I was looking for a solid top guitar and found the BR-343 and it looked pretty sweet. I especially liked the trinity rings, so I started researching this 'new' brand of guitars - Blueridge - one that i've never heard of and learned that this manufactur of guitars had nothing less than excellent reviews primarily on Musician's Friend (Which is where I go to browse instruments and do research.)
After discovering the potential and raving reviews of these ubiquitous great guitars I decided I didn't want just a 'solid-top' guitar, I wanted more. So I found my way to the BR-160...did some research and learned for a few bucks more...I could get an Adirondack. Now, i've never played an "Adirondack" constructed instrument before, but from what everyone is saying "If you have the choice between the two, and money isn't an issue, go with the 'A'".... and so thats what I've done.
Bear in mind, I've never played a Blueridge, there are no local shops carrying these expressively 'fine' instruments. So, I'm primarily going off just about every revewiers opinion who owns one, which is "They are nothing less than great and some."
My BR-160A comes Monday. Till then, I just have to be patient....
I
can't wait!!

). Like Dave said, wise choice......
Hopefully I don't have a serious condition.... haha.... I'm just stoked
to get what I'd consider a "real" acoustic guitar in my hands! Not that plywood, compressed stuff.
