Can you say "Factory seconds"? Can you say, take a crap shoot on the packing job? Mine was great, but I read here that someone else's packing job
was not so great from them. They did fine by me, other than ignoring the instruction to loosen the strings and remove the endpin ("We know how to package
acoustic guitars for shipping!"). I think I lucked out.

What kydave said. Ordering a $400 RD227 from Daddy's is akin to buying a very pricey lotto ticket, IMHO. Those will all have been returns to TML, with
repairs made and then sold as 2nds.

Like you I kinda have enough guitars for now though!

Yea, I kind of figured that there was a "catch" somewhere in all of this. But, one can still return them within 30 days, so for someone who
doesn't mind paying the shipping both ways, it may be worth it to give it a try. You never know though...you may luck out and get a good one.

Pappy Your going to love the new stuff that's coming out this year , these new RK's are at a whole different level than anything the market has seen

Oh-Oh! Do I need to hold up on another Eastman purchase and check out the new "Wankerized" RK line ? We really do live in the golden age of guitars. It is amazing how far import guitars have come in such a relatively short time. It is also obvious that only the best are going to survive, so if you ain't movin' forward you're falling behind! RK / Stanfords / Eastman / Blueridge --- something for everyone, and something evryone can afford. POWER TO THE PICKERS

Pappy and all, thanks for the nice comments. One thing I really like about Music Link is the owners' willingness to let us listen to you guys and have the
guitars fit what the consumer is looking for. For example, getting the right scale lengths with the right body style, seeking out the right pickguard material,
bridges, bracing requirements, etc to complement each certain style of guitar, all help to contribute to what makes the NEW Recording Kings something
different. With the opening of our new workshop dedicated mainly to The Loar and Recording King nitrocellulose finish models, we've been able to really
lighten these guitars up and create some totally vibrant monster instruments! I am really looking forward to you guys getting to play some of this new stuff as
it appears in shops and so forth. If you;re in Nashville, come by the NAMM show in July and check them all out. Have a great night, wankers!
