But Greg.....
Everyone should have the chance to get a Gummy pickguard shaped coaster with their guitar .... .
Good to hear...... Side note, there's a guy asking about info on the Johnson JO-27 saddle and bridge pins (nearby recent thread) if you have access to that. Thanks!

You know what's funny , the other day I went to Guitar Center and was checking out the new high dollar US guitars .... and what did I find on the J-200 ? a
gummy pickguard .... a F%$#ing gummy on a $ 3500 guitar .. what the F%$# is going on with that ! I guess we really started the craze for them ... right here on
this forum ..... I'd like to see the other forums take credit for that !

Any ideas when they will start being shipping on the guitars? I'm sure there's still a lot of new un-sold guitars out there in dealers with the old
gummy-bear pg's to get rid of.

I'm the bad boy that done got this whole ruckus started about the gummy guards, and I'd like to see one, if you please.

Greg, please don't stop making the old gummy guards, for they serve a valid social function. If you put one on a Taylor, it might actually improve the
tone.

That ain't right .... or maybe it is !

They have a least 101 uses that I know of and none of them are for guitars !

$400 for a RD-227? Nice deal there! Probably old stock and maybe a "Blem"/2nd.

Man, there are a ton of Recording Kings (including 3 RD-227's), Carolina Johnson's, a few Martins and Taylors, and a ton of other misc. brands on Daddys.com. Never heard of this site before. Prices are pretty reasonable, and
some with limited warranty.
All (3) of the RD-227's are $399 + $45 shipping. No case though. Jeff |
