Can you tell if I recorded this guitar plugged into my home PA (or unplugged)? Does it sound natural or more electric (plugged in) tonally? I put this thread
here since it's more pickup criteria related. I'll give some details a bit later....

My guess is that it's plugged in , but it has a very natural acoustic sound to it. If you hadn't asked, I prolly would have just assumed it was
mic'ed without a PUP and amp.
You forget it and I'll forget it, but I'll remember it, and don't you forget it!

I'd say definitely plugged in, but still pretty natural, like Dave said.

I'm thinking plugged in, but it sounds very acoustic to me, definetly not PA sounding. Good setup if it is plugged in.
So many guitars....So little time.
So many taxes......So few guitars

My vote is plugged in. It sound very good but as Stanford owners know, the video camera mic usually doesn't do the Stanford justice. I'd love to hear
you record on an H2 or some type of digital recorder. They seem to capture the magic of a Staford fairly well.

YUP! It is plugged into my home PA using the installed B-Band A2.2 pickup system. You can kind of tell that the sound is less woody than if it was unplugged. It has more of a crispy sound than unplugged but in person it's surprising how natural this thing sounds. The video cam never quite does justice to the tone unplugged or plugged in as Ranger wisely pointed out.....
