I actually prefer the tone of this 21 over the 28.

same here pugs.
which is why i will get a 10 over the 28. even thought the 10 has "inferior" hog.

honestly, I've never had the opportunity to compare and contrast the differences side by side myself. the way that the hog is described in most forums
similar to this one is what I like, so that's really why I went hog.

Ryan... I just read the link you supplied last friday... some very interesting reading. I'm very psyched to get the PSD-21, no doubt! The bulging thing was
interesting, prolly just an isolated incident. I'm hoping to have it delivered on friday!

Boy, I sure would like a mahogany Stanford, but have drawn the line in the sand at 3 guitars (all of which I love). I'm anxious to hear your reviews. In terms of the strings, I use Nanoweb PB lights and REALLY like the tone. Sole resident of The Island of Misfit Players Three Chords and a Wish

I'm thrilled I have the psd-21 coming soon, ranger... I actually had placed an order for a BR-140A, but found out the next day that they were out of stock.
So then I thought, ok, I'll just get a BR-140. But those, and the 160, couldn't be had for 5 or 6 days. So then I kept hearing about the Stanfords and
how great they are and that they were at least as good if not better than the BR's. Then the two Stanfords showed up in the for sale or trade section
within a day of each other I think... and after consulting with few owners of Stanfords, who had excellent advice and very excellent reviews, I bought the
mahogany 21. I've never really had a great sounding guitar.. I've only owned one since '77, a laminated Takamine which I still have and play.
It's gonna be a long week....

That new guitar will be an enormous step up from the laminated Takamine .

it left Baltimore at 6:19pm this evening... heading north to NY. I think I'm gonna be verrrrrrrry happy with this guitar... I mean, like ya said, Ryan,
it's gotta be an enormous difference from what I've played for the last 30 yrs. It's amazing, but it's all I can think about! I feel like an 8
yr. old on Christmas eve.
