I just left the AGF forum for good because of the inane trolling, specious arguments, and sometimes all out prejudice and closed mindedness rampant there. It offers me nothing at this point.
In contrast here we have always been able disagree sociably. So Far.
Please do not let our passion for music and guitars spill over to just pure passion and reaction.
And at least in this case remember we began talking about a guitar model no one has seen, touched, or heard yet!
It may sing like the angels with action that virtually plays itself, or might have the tonal qualities of concrete and require hydraulic actuators to fret. I'm guessing it's going to fall somewhere in between and will wait unti it actually hits the street to reserve judgement.
The UBGF is my last refuge for my daily guitar internet fix. Hope it stays that way.
Regarding guitar construction in general. There is so much technology today that was not available 175 years ago, who knows what it will yield.

is a D-45 clone (my understanding). So if "bling" isn't your thing, it's probably not the best choice. I'm looking forward to seeing one
