        <![CDATA[ After buying my first Stanford Performer dread (PSD-20) last summer it occurred to me that these guitars are something special, and far better than anything I
had played in the under $1K range prior to that or to date. Since then a number of us have gotten our hands on these guitars and generally my own personal
reaction is the same as the others in most cases. So what am I missing here? Why aren&#39;t these being sold by any of the larger companies who sell Eastman,
Blueridge, Recording King... ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ I would think that price point would be the primary sticker here, unless there is some kind of labor/contract hold is on the companies and or vendors.  No
company wants to compete with itself and all companies want to profit. From what I&#39;ve heard these Stanford Performers are the cats meow, the holy grail of
tone/cost. Steve would know better than anybody what these guitars could sell for, what the market would bare. How long did Steve sit on the 102 he got? Seems
to me these Stanford... ]]></description>

models , history with manufacturer ... so on. Getting a dealer to take on a new product line better have something they really need or priced way below the
competition or your chances are pretty slim . Dealers want to see advertising , dealer support for warranty and returns , extra discounts on shipping and
quantity buys , delivery times ,... ]]></description>

dealers to sell on a percentage basis provide a small discount and a fair commision with a better incentive if you happen to sell more over a given period of

			<description><![CDATA[ With notice, they can provide sufficient guitars. Warranty 2 year. How this is handled remains vague. Some talk of discounting the next batch to make up for
the weak ones in the last, but nothing formal. To date, warranty work has come out of my pocket. Were I to reintroduce wholesaling, I would develop MAP &amp;
MSP agreements and enforce them.

The only other Stanfords available for purchase in the US would be whatever you can find <span style="font-weight: bold;">used</span> on Ebay, Craigslist
